On Saturday January 25th the guys left for this long journey. Becoming number one was not the ultimate goal, but they also did not want to be the last ones to arrive. Unfortunately this was the case. On the ranking they were last but not at all in raising money for the charity project "Canteen for Zambia." With the help of all their sponsors they raised the impressive amount of over € 38,000, fantastic! Besides this Gerard and Marcel enjoyed a wonderful journey, which led them to the edge of the Barents Sea, it was truly a great experience. Tired and satisfied they enjoyed the overwhelming and warm welcome upon their return in Zoeterwoude. Family and friends made the effort to "Welcome home!" the heroes. Everyone was happy that they were back in good condition. If anyone wants to see more pictures or the entire movie please let us know, it is truly worthwhile.
